Case

tmgo — a freight exchange platform

A two-sided platform built by the holding: shippers post loads, carriers — from solo drivers to fleets — bid for a trip instead of calling around blind.

The problem

In freight, deals get made by phone and through middlemen: no way to compare bids, no way to check a carrier, paperwork scattered across chats. There was no transparent place where a load, a bid and a trip lived together.

What we built

We built an exchange: a shipper posts a load, carriers — solo drivers and fleets alike — bid on it, and a dispatcher verifies documents and the fleet. Each side gets its own cabinet, chat and a mobile app with live trip status.

The technologies we work with every day. TypeScript runs through the whole project — the database schema, the server, the interface and the mobile app — and Docker brings it up the same way on a laptop and on a server.

A young team with grown-up problems

Altyn San is the IT arm of the Altyn holding. We automate the group's processes and build products for external clients. The holding's internal systems are our daily work, not a showcase.
